Indian Stock Market: The Indian stock market re-evaluated its market data yesterday. The market closed in the green yesterday after a positive response to the April 1, 2026, price action. The Sensex and Nifty appeared to be covering their losses, with the market witnessing increased buying. Signs of a strengthening Indian rupee also shed light on yesterday’s market data, with the Nifty reaching around 22,350 Points where-as Sensex jumped with merely 500+ points.
As per the market reports, BSE rose by approximately 0.25% to 73,319.55, while the NSE Nifty 50 index closed at 0.15% higher at 22,713.1. The main cause behind such a high demand purchase was due to the indian rupee support after the RBI curbed speculative forex trading through swift resolution to the Iran war, extending the overall market’s losing streak.

Market Index Sensex closed at 73,319.55 with a positive green signal to the potential investors, as Market was rose by merely 0.25%, whereas NIFTY 50 rose by 33.70 Points (0.15%), closing at 22,713.10 Points. while Bank Nifty rose by 0.19% to 51,548.75 Points.
Sensex Intraday low was at 71,545/.81, while comparing with Nifty, the low was at 22,182.55.
